Part 2 - Fires of Fury
In part 2, James Lightwater wakes from a startling and vivid dream about fires to continue his adventure. He makes a
diversionary trip to pre-historic Earth to put his pursuers off his trail - although a close encounter with a dinosaur
almost ends it before he can escape. Nevertheless, the story takes him to ancient Egypt around 2250BC where he has to
discover and capture the next crystal.
However, his dream has not been forgotten and he soon finds himself in London in 1666, the year of the Great Fire, where
he visits underneath the Tower of London to continue his quest.
Was that the fire in his dream? Or could there be some other explanation? Read the book.

Some of the characters you will encounter in the book:
- James Lightwater. In a chain of unforeseen and dramatic circumstances, twelve year old budding amateur scientist
James Lightwater has been reluctantly hurled into a quest to save the world from being taken over by an evil
secret society and their alien masters.

Dark Leo is a teenage girl wearing tight fitting black body armour. Tall and athletic and the strange outfit makes
her look like a living statue. On her head she wears a helmet shaped like a scowling lion. Attached to it was a lion-mane
head dress which is a mass of wild red hair.

The Garden Shed
James's laboratory is his garden shed - but readers outside Britain may not be familiar with the Garden Shed - a peculiarly British phenomenon. Perhaps a word of explanation
would be in order.
The garden shed is normally a small wooden building in which the house owner can store garden tools - lawnmower, fork, rake etc.;
garden chemicals - weedkiller, fertiliser etc.; pots and other garden trivia. However, there are many stories (some true - some perhaps
not) of garden sheds being used for other purposes - like a place to hide, somewhere to store secret things or (as in our story)
a place to perform scientific experiments.
